Take Away My Free Will God

The other day I was thinking about how I don’t like to offend God, but sometimes I do it anyway when my selfishness and other faults overcome my love for him. This makes me sad, and I appreciated even more how God respects the free will he has given me by not overriding it even when he knows I am doing something that is evil.
.
.
So I thought of something that I could ask of God, but which I doubted he would answer. I said:
“God, of my own free will, I want you to override my free will if I am ever going to do something evil. I freely give you this permission.”
.
.
Will God answer such a prayer? I don’t think so, but why not? He gave me free will, and I mistrust myself because I know I have so many faults that lead me to choosing to do evil at times, so I want to use this free will of mine to prevent it, and the most foolproof way is to give God the right to take control of me if I am on the precipice of falling to sin.
